I missed a test, now what?

If you miss a test, don’t worry! This does not mean that you will fail the MBA, as one of the approval criteria is that your final average is equal to or greater than 7.0.

The final average is calculated by the sum of the grade of all your tests divided by the number of tests given in the course. This calculation system allows the student to recover the final average of the following tests! Shall we see an example?

Student X missed the last test, but before that, they always got grades above 7.0, and so far, they have completed 11 tests in the course (considering the last test, which will be considered a grade of 0.0). The calculation of the average will be the sum of all these grades, divided by the number of closed tests (11).

PRE-TEST LOSS SCENARIO

8.0 + 7.0 + 9.0 + 7.0 + 10.0 + 8.0 + 7.0 + 7.0 + 9.0 + 10.0 = 82 / 10 = 8.2.

POST-TEST LOSS SCENARIO

8.0 + 7.0 + 9.0 + 7.0 + 10.0 + 8.0 + 7.0 + 7.0 + 9.0 + 10.0 + 0.0 = 82 / 11 = 7.45.

That is, even when missing a test, because they always got good grades, the average only decreased a little, but it did not fall below 7.0.
